Fine Art School Portraits

I am excited to have the opportunity to provide your school with fine art school portraits. 

My goal is to provide a better and more personal experience to all the families who attend the schools who have chosen me to photograph their children.

What is a fine art school portrait?

Fine Art School Portraits are a modern approach to school photos.  No more awkward smiles with strange backgrounds. The background will be a solid color and the photos will be simple and classic. Using my relaxed approach to portraits, the children will be encouraged to be themselves and will never be forced to smile.  Photo day also serves as a fundraiser for your school - 20% of proceeds are donated to Stanley Preschool!!

What should my child wear?

Please avoid graphics and neon clothing.  Accessories are WELCOME!  Solids, earth tones, and neutrals are my favorite -- but your child's favorites are more important!  Feel free to let them wear their favorite choice so we can capture and adore their unique personality for years to come!  All shots are shoulder up. How will I order?

Within two weeks of your child’s photo day, you will be e-mailed the link to a class proofing gallery. There will be 2-5 images of each child. Images will be in both color and black and white. I do not choose which photos you print; you do. You will be able to order prints, canvas wraps, and digital files directly from the viewing gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure. The gallery will be live for seven(7) days. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED IN THAT SEVEN DAY PERIOD.
Once orders have been placed, your photos and/ or canvas wraps will be delivered to your school within four weeks.

SPRING 2021 BACKDROPS

Every child will have their photo taken on BOTH backdrop colors, you do not need to choose in advance.  

COVID 19 Precautions

Photo day will follow all current CDC and Stanley Preschool guidelines including social distancing and will take place OUTSIDE!    

Hey there, I'm

Amanda

I’m a laid back mom, rarely the “better half” to my husband, and a beach loving photographer. I grew up in North Jersey and moved to Connecticut for college where I studied psychology. Unrelated to my major, I worked for 10+ years in the finance industry and after 15 years of living and loving Fairfield County — decided to pack up our 3 kids, dog and 2 cats, sell our Southport home, and head down the shore! We now spend our days on the Barnegat Bay enjoying the simple pleasures that most people only get to enjoy for a week or two while on vacation. 

I’m well versed in Baby Shark, Fortnite and LOL’s.

When I’m not chasing around my crazy tribe, enjoying the weather, finding lost shoes, watching little league games or gymnastics meets, I’m likely behind a screen fine tuning my craft.  Photography is always on my mind.
